Mat 5:3 Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Let's keep believing God for those who are Poor in Spirit. Jesus Opened his mouth and said, " Theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven"
The "Poor in Spirit" speaks of the devil spirit, the sin spirit, the World spirit. The Kingdom of Heaven speaks of the Love spirit, the God spirit, the Holy Spirit. When Jesus said that they are blessed, what he means is that they are candidates for change. They are eligible for new life. So they are blessed. There's a chance for the Poor in Spirit to become the Rich in Spirit. There's a chance for earthly minded, carnal minded, death minded human beings to be transformed from the image of a corruptible man to the incorruptible image of God. There is hope for lost mankind. There is hope for dead mankind. There is hope for evil mankind.
Jesus said "Blessed" Blessed are the Poor in Spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. It's a portion allotted to them. It's a life which previously was not available to them, but now is, through the blood of Jesus Christ.
I also believe that the "Poor in Spirit" Must be able to identify that he is Poor. Without that knowledge, seldom will he be compelled to change. His willingness to embrace the blessing of life, will become a forced act of death. Which results in the resentment of the new way of life and all those who follow it. It's only when we come to admit our sin, that we wish to turn from it. It's only when we confess how evil our hearts and minds are that we are moved with passion to leave that state of sorcery and witchcraft.
The Poor in Spirit must understand that he is deprived of life, goodness, Mercy, compassion, virtues, kindness, love, hope, and faith. He is deprived of reasoning, understanding, morals, and values. The Poor in Spirit must come to understand that his state of being is no less than that of a common animal, who's most basic instinct are to eat or be eaten. This is the sad plight of some. But not for all. The Kingdom of Heaven is the new Man, the new way of life. And when Jesus called the Poor in Spirit blessed, it was Good! Because they need it, they are most suitable for it, they fit it's candidacy. And for them did Jesus Christ die, for them. The hopeless, the rejected, the scum of the earth, the lowlifes, the sons of Satan. That they might be converted.
